the castle of ile-de-france in parc de sceaux; the latter occupying 108 hectares of land and is between my residence and sch
view from behind the castle
beyond the gate and to the left is where my school is
from the fountain to the other end of the park
view from the top to the fountain
if i walk to sch instead of taking the bus, i wld walk thru this path, which is admittedly quite nice, but the 1/2 hr walk puts me off, so i usually take the bus
view from outside my window, yes i live on the ground floor, which really sucks, the only gd thing was that i didnt have to lug my luggage up the stairs when i first moved in.
another shitty view from my window, did i mention that i feel like a zoo exhibit whenever the bus outside passes by?
this is what i see if i come back from sch thru the park
shitholes from upclose
on the street outside from the bus stop
to the left
streets of paris, monoprix is like a higher-class cold storage, things there arent freaking expensive
16eme arrondisement
can see the spire of notre-dame?
the river seine on a gloomy evening
stood in the middle of the road to take this! extremely hard and dangerous, but champs-elysees rocks! the vibrancy of paris truely pulsates in u when u stroll down it

one of the bridges that links ile st-louis, an island, to the mainland paris

upclose and personal this time
in montmartre (place where the french movie 'amelie de montmartre' was obviously shot at), in front of l'eglise de sacre coeur, with terence, lianan, me and xuanang
the obelisk with the eiffel in the background ( the lorry's an eyesore tho)
see the beam of green laser? it was shot from one of the universities up to montmartre, in a bid to re-enact how scientists in the past measured the speed of light
la jocunde (mona lisa), a big big let-down
there are mummies too, cool!
the above 3 are taken in one of the hundreds of halls/exhibition rooms inside the louvre, and i only spent an hour inside, just covering twenty at most? haha
inside the notre-dame cathedral
inside square de l'avenue foch, where all the embassies are. the italy flag isnt unfurled...
anyone recognises this flag?
my dear dear singapore embassy, just have to occupy a house (while the others are presumably in buildings), in red and white no less, with the usual 'no-this' and 'no-that' signs adorning your front gate; but i grow to love u now haha
sneak preview of my room: the basin and mirror! see the darned separate taps? every morning when washing up, i do some slick hand movements that are so quick just to avoid being scalded... tsk tsk
tts all for now, pics-wise at least. gtg to bed now, spent 2 hrs blogging sigh... got back my maths results today, average marks, haiz... looks like maths 1-on-1 lessons are gonna get more intensive. gearing up for french 1-on-1 tmr, bonne nuit tout le monde!
