yay i bought my first laptop yesterday at the PC fair. its soooooooooo crowded man, i practically had to shuffle my steps along with the tide-flow of the crowd to get from booth to booth. anyway i got an IBM T43. too lazy to list all the specifications, am just happy with its sleek design and what it can do. a lean mean machine. just like me. haha crap. had to haggle like anything just to get as many freebies as possible. the weird thing is that there are 2 separate booths for IBM thinkpad at hall 6. so my dad and i assumed that both of them are under the same co/distributor. turns out that there are THREE different companies, so it means that you get different deals at different booths. one of the booths was manned by 2 separate companies while the other had their own, and the misleading thing was that all of them were wearing the same shirt and giving out the same flyers. misleading to the core.
and i had my first spiritual epiphany for a long long time. did my QT last nite and was ministered to by the verse 2 Corinthians 12:9, which says "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
i thoroughly revel in the warm glow knowing that the Word says God's strength is about to be made perfect in me. and that is especially pertinent and encouraging to me. dissidents of the gospel, agnostics and atheists alike, pls dun be scornful of what i've written, nor interpret it according to your human perception and definitions, for surely your cynicism and doubt will only leave you floundering further in contempt for the gospel, which i have no intention of doing so in the first place.
